Plot:

The tensions between the Protestants and Catholics increases because of the edict Lord Narcisse blackmailed Francis into signing. Mary and Francis' relationship hits a wall due to the secrets he is keeping. Queen Catherine is still dealing with ghosts from her past while trying to deal with her daughter, Princess Claude.
